In German, the word "Affenpinshcer" is translated as "Monkey Dog" or "Monkey-Terrier". Affenpinscher originated in the central part of Europe. It was called monkey dog due to its face and giddy nature of a monkey. The usual color of this breed is black but sometimes they also come in black-tan, gray, silver, or belge. This breed belongs to the Toy Group according American Kennel Club (AKC).
CHARACTERISTIC
- Affenpinscher is a playful and very active breed.This pooch is very loyal and affectionate toward its master and friends. They are fun-loving pets and they are ideal for a family pet. However, the Affenpinscher will bite if they are provoked that's why you need to teach your children on how handle the dog properly.
APPEARANCE
-Wiry hair, devil like mustache, and monkey like face.
GROOMING
- Needs to be brushed oftentimes and just a minimal cut of its hair seldom or every few months.
TRAINING/EXERCISE
- Since this dog is very active and playful, they need to have an exercise training or a daily walk. This dog is also intelligent that can be trained quite easily.
