Symptoms of Canine Parvovirus

Canine Parvovirus or simply parvo is a common and a dangerous virus that affects dogs. Consistently, this virus is really contagious that may spread from a dog to another dog in a direct or indirect contact with their feces. Parvo greatly affects the intestinal and cardiac parts of a dog and most of the time puppies are the common victims of this virus since they are not protected by maternal antibodies or any vaccinations.





Signs and Symptoms:

• Diarrhea- oftentimes, your dog or puppy will have a bloody feces.
• Fever- your pooch has will have a temperature above normal range.
• Vomiting- Since parvo will affect the intestinal part of the dog. Usually the puppy will vomit a foamy and white like texture.
• Lethargy- your pooch is being sluggish and lazy.
• Lack of Appetite- Usually dogs with parvo has no appetite since it affects their intestines and stomach. 

So if you're pooch has any of these signs and symptoms, go directly to your vet and have a proper check-up.
